foreign (venice) everywhere is an accompanying publication developed within the course Vertiefung Kunstpraxis II+IV. Taking Venice as a point of departure, the project brings together artistic works, observations, and reflections on experiences of foreignness, place, and perception. The publication documents the students’ artistic processes while extending the course beyond the immediate experience of the city, asking how encounters with unfamiliar places can become material for artistic practice.
