Küche takes the decontextualisation and functional disruption of an ordinary coffee machine as its starting point. Hot water is redirected through a continuous circuit and returned to the machine, creating an endless loop in which the water temperature gradually rises. The cycle continues until the appliance itself fails. Through this simple intervention, the familiar kitchen becomes unstable: functionality shifts into dysfunction, while questions of use, dependency, trust, and technological control begin to emerge. The domestic object becomes a fragile system.
