Loeschung deals with photography as a fragile form of memory. The work is based on an undeveloped photograph found in an analogue camera bought from an estate. By preserving and translating this image into graphic and textile form, the work reflects on what remains of a person once memories, objects, and images begin to disappear. The blurred photograph becomes a trace of something already fading — preserved just before it is lost.
